Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify or amend this privacy policy at any time and for any reason. The modified or amended privacy policy will be posted to our website. Last revised 05/20/2024.

In general, you can visit Lincoln Heritage Life Insurance Company on the internet without telling us who you are or revealing any information about yourself. Our web servers collect the IP addresses, not the e-mail addresses of visitors. This information is gathered to measure the number of visits, pages viewed, etc. Like many websites, we use “cookies” to deliver more relevant product messages based on pages viewed while visiting our site or other preferences you make known during your visit. Please refer to the following “How we use ‘cookies'” section for information about cookies and how we use them.

We use this information to help us create a better experience for our website users. There are times, however, when we may need information from you to respond to your inquiry or allow you to access specific account information. We collect no more personal information than is necessary to provide superior service.

HOW WE USE “COOKIES”

Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your Web browser (if you allow) that enables the site’s or service provider’s systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information about your visit.

We primarily use cookies to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with an improved content experience. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.

We may contract with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors so that we can improve or customize our website experience for a single user or for all users in general and to serve additional information outside of our website. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business and provide you with a more customized content experience.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, or Firefox) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify how your browser manages cookies. If you turn cookies off, you will still be able to gather the information you need and have a typical website experience when visiting us, but we will not be able to serve content to you based on your activity.

This cookie management strategy is global in nature meaning that all cookies from all sources are managed the same way. You may also choose to manage cookies from various sources in unique ways. Sometimes, our third-party service providers require that we provide our site visitors who do not use global cookie management strategies the opportunity to use their cookie management options. When this is the case, we will post links to their policies and procedures in this section of our privacy policy.
